Witnessing an Event

The work constructs
constructs an environment that portrays an inevitable collapse, capturing an atmosphere of uncertainty, vulnerability, and curiosity. Her art uses the inherent fragility of ceramics to explore themes of destruction and creation.
The centrepiece is designed as a complex structure exposing the ongoing violence and destruction process. This artwork integrates a metal stand, a ceramic object, and a motor with metal cables into an interconnected formation. The ceramic component, crafted from numerous hand-rolled clay coils, is assembled into an open construction. The metal cables, controlled by an unknown algorithm, generate tension on the coils, unpredictably breaking them apart. This interaction turns the composition into an instrument of destruction, making the threatening process an intentional focal point.
